This documentary is a fantastic insight into a trendsetter who I fondly remember watching from the days of World of Sport, who went on to make his mark in the U.S.. Not to be confused with WWE's Adrian Adonis, Adrian Street was before Adonis and was a totally independent British wrestler who's legacy went on to inspire WWE as we know it today. Thats what makes this documentary special. Adrian didn't wrestle for WWE yet this man along with Miss Linda achieved so much, breaking barriers and they truly were at the forefront wrestling industry. I watched the documentary via YouTube Rentals, thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend for both wrestling and non wrestling fans. It is a really useful historical insight into one of many artists who should be remembered for their contribution to popular culture and inspirational career.

Watched via Amazon. It was thoroughly entertaining and such a fascinating story, was left wanting more. Unlike some documentaries which seem to drag this one had every emotion - it was compelling, heartwarming, fun and up-lifting. The lockdown lift we needed.

I really enjoyed this having purchased through YouTube. I have watched it numerous times and not tiring of it.Adrian wrestled at his peak prior to when I was of an age to watch wrestling and this film has made me a big fan of his and have sought out as many matches as I can to watch.

This was fun for me remembering Adrian's pro wrestling appearance at my small Alabama high school. It's a good, probably well sensationalized, documentary of a somewhat successful English wrestler that became a very successful flamboyant American pro wrestler. Wrote and recorded his own entrance music and designed and made his ringwear with the help of Miss Linda. Recommended.

Just watched this incredible documentary about Adrian Street and was hooked throughout ! What a guy ! Thanks Joann Randles for bringing the story of this amazing trailblazer to life. I thought the clips and photos of Adrian were woven in so well with the commentary. Absolutely fascinating. Adrian Street was clearly massively influential to not only the wrestling world but also to pop culture. Congratulations! Just Fabulous, like Adrian Street himself !

This Doco has been over-rated IMO becausae of the subject matter. And he has been misinterpreted IMO as well. The quality is not that good - disjointed and not that clear about the story - too much glamour and not enough substance. Adrian was a trailblazer no doubrt, but he did all that as a marketing gimmick. And it worked so well because of who he was, and that he was a natural. But overall I think they could have done a much better if it wasnt so much about emotion and 'empowerment', and was more about the substance of the story. A recent film about Elton John also failed because of the same approach.

Watched this with my partner over the Christmas break. We had no idea who Adrian was but wanted to watch as I had read about it in Slam Wrestling review and it was recommended. If you love glam rock and wrestling you really will enjoy this. Adrian's music is the soundtrack throughout and is really just a down to earth insight into his career, spoken by the man himself. From what we've read, Adrian worked very closely on the documentary and approved it so everything that is in it is authentic. It's not a high budget production, but if you love genuine stories of remarkable people then this should be on your 2021 playlist. There's no hollywood pizzaz or nonsense. Just a real, raw, inspirational documentary as it should be.

This gave me an insight in to a world I've never been exposed to. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish!

Superb! I was lucky enough to see this title at a film festival in May 2019. It was not only one of the highlights of the festival for me, but an impressively poignant piece of cinema, that remains firm in my heart and emotional pride even to this day.Sadly, it didn't win an (thoroughly deserved) accolade or accreditation at the festival I attended, especially after making such a profound impact on my personal experience of movie and documentary entertainment, but I am pleased to find it continues to be rightfully acclaimed, and I have no doubts that it will continue to serve as an important benchmark in storytelling.

An inspiring and heart warming true story about a Welsh wrestling athlete, who broke down barriers and wasn't afraid to both walk the line.... and cross it, flamboyantly no less, back when nobody dared do anything but conform to what 'society' deemed 'acceptable.'A hero and a trend-setter for generations to come.All beautifully portrayed and masterfully documented, giving this tale, and its protagonist, a righteous passage into welsh history and, ultimately, serving as the (ironically fitting) 'magnificent' platform to etch both into legend.Fantastic viewing. Not to be missed.
