Cringe worthy

I only gave it a 2 because I did laugh maybe twice. But overall this movie was just awful. Acting bad. Story bad. So predictable. But in the end did she go to Duke?

Give it a miss if you want to feel something

I love dance movies, but this one didn't do it for me.

The dancing and the acting was so vacuous, it left me feeling empty inside. You didn't get to know the characters at all, it was just the lead's voice over explaining it to you, like the director really didn't trust you to understand any subtext.

Shallow and generic, but good if you want something cheesy to talk over. :)

Not on the watch list.

Remember that you said you were never going to watch another dance movie. This would definitely be a new reason to renew your vowels to never watch another dance movie ever, ever, ever again. The acting is just average from everyone. No one, and I mean no one is giving a brilliant over the top performance in anyway shape form or fashion. This is like one of those movies that was made by the friend of the CEO of Netflix and they was like sure will put your movie out. Not wanting to hurt his friends feeling. I don't know were the person who chose all the scenes and places to film but everything seemed rushed. Nothing seemed for sure. It's definitely another infringement on black music and hip-hop culture and the misappropriation of it. Nothing about the story really fits. Do you know how the devil is in the details. There are no details there's nothing there even made you want to go watch it. This movie if it were to hit the theater you wouldn't of asked for your money back. Disney was laughing! Maybe the idea in the beginning for this movie was great however from beginning to in no substance no depth no make me love you make me hate you it's just a blah movie.
