Movie Description:
Five peaceful years have passed since the demise of the duplicitous monarch, King Stefan, in Maleficent (2014), and, now, an unforeseen but joyous event is about to unite the mortal Kingdom of Ulstead and the fairy-realm of the enchanted Moors. However, once more, odious treason stands in the way of true young love, as malicious envy, unbounded ambition, and ignoble thoughts creep in the hearts of men. Now, two neighbouring worlds find themselves divided by fear and prejudice, and, sadly, the impending union paves the way for an all-out confrontation. Suddenly, the magnificent winged sprite, Maleficent, and the lovely Princess Aurora are caught in the middle. Does love always end well?

The Call of the Wild is a vibrant story of Buck, a big and kindhearted dog, a crossbreed between a St. Bernard and a Scotch Collie, whose carefree life of leisure was suddenly upset when he was stolen from his home in Santa Clara County, California and deported up north, to be sold in Skagway, Alaska, and taken further north, to Dawson City, Yukon, during the late 1890s Klondike Gold Rush, when strong sled dogs were in high demand. The curse of boredom

The new conflict these days in movie making: good and sometimes even excellent visuals against a boring and bad script. The whole movie tastes like a stale beer: whereas the people responsible for the visuals and effects have developed high skills, most of today's writers should just quit their job and serve at dinners instead of torturing the audiences to a braindead level: uninteresting and overused storylines, cliché after cliché, one dimensional characters, boring dialogues, jokes that don't work etc. My rate is 5 but only because of the visuals and the actors, the story itself and therefore the movie is simply a boring one.

Irredeemable

Does everyone love fairytales here?

Well me too, but certainly not like this ??

You know.. after the release of the first movie, i heard a sequel was going to be out in theaters this year. I loved the first very much, i even gave it a nine out of ten. That was how magnificent it was, and now with this added to the franchise, i decided to go see it in theaters with my mom. As i left the venue, i sat in the car feeling empty. After i gave multiple chances for redemption to Disney, unfortunately this shows the company has officially sold out.

The story is mediocre at best, the acting that saves the movie is only Sam Riley and Angelina Jolie reprising their respective roles from the previous film, even Aurora now strikes me as the whiny child who is incredibly dumb and selfish. Don't get me started on the Queen, by far the worst character i have seen in cinema for a long time. The character development is close to none even if the duration is two hours long, no build up and the action is not as great as i hoped it would be. Altough yes, it definitely is a pretty looking movie from the marvelous CGI, cinematography as well as excellent editing. However, those are just the beginning. Oh no, those are nothing compared to this aspect that i despised with all my heart, body and soul.

It has the most atrocious writing i have seen in such a long, long time. I almost asked myself, "Damn disney, what the hell?"

I thought maybe with all those useless live action adaptations, at least they have a film that is still in good reputation among audiences, unfortunately that has been put into the fiery pit of despair along with this year's Aladdin and The Lion King.

In conclusion, i honestly do not even know what movie it is anymore. I don't recommend seeing it, it is now a ruined premise of what once was adapted from an all-time Disney classic.

Side note :

Start making original , Disney!

Better than expected

The cinematography was spot on as well as sounds and visual effects. There are also many iconic scenes which are straight out of the original classic animated movie which greatly impressed me. Overall, I enjoyed watching it. It's a fun-to-watch movie. The narrative of the film can easily appeal to the young audience. However, it is best to watch the 2014 Maleficent film before watching this movie so that you will understand its story better.
