"I had a date"

Wow , what a film. I've seen this movie a couple of times back when I was younger but after watching it today at 3:55 am and counting I came to the conclusion once again that we are in the presence of a masterpiece. For people like me that are a Marvel fan and specially a captain America fan this movie is a diamond. Personally I loved all the script, the set, the story, the great love story between Cap and Peggy and how they made Steve's personality. The script , all the dialogues between characters helps you get personally involved in all types of relationships between them, specially friendship and love. How they made Captain America personality is just so good , a man that went through tough times but never changed a thing of what's inside of him and always looking for the opportunity to defend his country even when he got rejected many times. Recommend 100% and if you like Marvel more then.

6.9?!? 8.5 all the way at the very least!!!

At the time it came out, this was my favorite MCU film. I don't know how this one could've been done much better.

The casting is perfect!! Evans was obviously the choice to portray Steve Rogers. I will forever keep Hayley Atwell in that red dress as a fond memory. Weaving as Red Skull? No brainer. No one else could've done it as much justice. Stan, Jones, Tucci, and the rest of the cast of characters bring the story together.

If you haven't seen it,,, GO WATCH IT!!!!

The most inspirational MCU film!

For me this is the most inspirational film in the entire MCU. It's not a perfect movie and I think Marvel knew it wasn't gonna be, but it does a much harder and more important job, it excells at depicting the true sense of heroism. It's amazing in a world of bullies to have a man who will stand against anyone who is wrong or mistreats people, with or without strength, he is a true hero in heart. This movie has a character-driven plot and focuses on Steve's personality rather than giving tons of fight scenes during the World War II. It could be a better movie as of entertainment if there were more fights and war scenes but a less meaningful one, so I am glad they went that way. Chris Evans is one of the best casts ever made and elevated the role of Captain America in a whole new level. The whole direction is nice and heartwarming, giving an accurate 40s atmosphere although the main reason everyone should see this movie is the anti-bully messages it tries to pass on the viewer. It's not perfect, there are flaws and sometimes get a tiny bit boring, or the villain a little less interesting but stays true to what it is and I can enjoy it as that. A great movie that I think everyone should give a chance and everyone will get something out of this.
