Movie Description:
Samuel Peters once an ordinary man, dabbles within the laws of voodoo to bring his wife back from the grave, he soon encounters the God of malevolence 'Kalfu', where he makes a pact with him to destroy the underworld and bring chaos to earth; in return he will become 'The Zombie King' and walk the earth for eternity with his departed wife. Seven days before the rise of the Dark Moon, Samuel Peters (The Zombie King) calls upon Kalfu to raise seven of the recently departed, where their souls must be held on earth for seven days. With the ever growing horde of zombies, they begin to completely wipe out a countryside town. Once the Government get wind of what is going on, they set a perimeter around the town area and employ a shoot on sight policy. Trapped within the town, the locals and unlikely bunch of misfits fight for their lives, and the remaining humans soon realise that they have to unite in order to survive. Seeking sanctuary in a local church, they discover a bizarre disturbed priest where he gives them the knowledge of 'The Zombie King'. Can our hero's unravel the clues in time and survive or will The Zombie King and his horde of zombies rise on the night of the dark moon? —Rebecca-Clare Evans

50min Zombie parody and 40min Supernatural parody? whats not to like!!

It felt really good and fun !! enjoymaybe it seems stupid, but works , kept us until the end , not for everybody but deserves a good point

It was bad on many levels...

Despite my fascination and love for the zombie genre, then I never got around to watching "The Zombie King" before 2019, even though the movie was released back in 2013.

Why? Well, I can't really claim to be overly pressed for having had the urge to sit down and watch a zombie movie with Edward Furlong in it. Yeah, not much of a fan of him.

"The Zombie King" sort of was trying to be somewhat of a "Shaun of the Dead", but failed to do so, while at the same time trying to also pass as a serious zombie movie, where it fared only slightly better. For a zombie movie then "The Zombie King" was fairly flaccid. Sure, there were moments where the movie was actually adequate, but then came the introduction of the thing happening that caused the zombies to rise, and it just went from mediocre to idiotic. But wait, it isn't all done yet. Then they introduce the Kalfu character, as portrayed by Corey Feldman and it just sank even lower.

The zombie make-up in the movie was mediocre. I will say that it was a good thing that they opted for a bit more than the usual painting the face grey and darkening around the eyes, then leaving hands and neck in the actors ordinary skin tone, because that is just an instant kill for a zombie movie. With that being said, don't get your hopes up, because the make-up wasn't impressive or memorable.

I managed to endure all the way to the end of "The Zombie King", solely because it was a zombie movie, because let me just tell you that I wasn't entertained by what I suffered through here at the hands of director Aidan Belizaire.

"The Zombie King" came and went without leaving much of a mark, and it is a zombie movie that I will not be returning to watch again, despite it actually being a zombie movie.

The Zombie Crap

A British zom com that tries to duplicate Shaun Of The Dead, but no dice. The producers figured they would make more money if they brought over Edward Furlong and Corey Feldman to star in it. Maybe they should have done their homework. Edward is in it Furlonger than he usually appears in flicks these days. Corey on the other hand has maybe three minutes screen time.

The film is just flat. You want it to be over after ten minutes. Most of the story is told through flashbacks but then show some of them again and again. The time lines get all funky to. This wasn't suspense just annoying as hell. The ending will bother people but by that point you won't really care.
